We’re taking a momentary break from red-lip-everything and instead, playing with pops of purple. For this look on intern GaYoung, we used both matte violet and shimmery amethyst.
Here’s the product roundup…
Loving how the Matte Finish Eyeshadow in Purple Congo from MAKE blends right into the Cle de Peau Satin Eyeshadow in 108, with color contained from just lashline to crease, and the entire lid first dusted with MAKE’s Matte Finish Eyeshadow in Alabaster as a base shade.
For liner, we rimmed the full eye using NYX Slim Eye Pencil in Purple.
On cheeks, we popped on some Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Orchid Hush.
And to finish the look, we blended the Orchid Hush cream blush with (our fave new gloss!!) Maybelline Color Elixir in Rose Redefined and patted on the custom color.
We’ll always love our bold scarlets and crimsons, but we’re definitely not mad at this demure and feminine alternative.

Absolutely! Regular GaYoung = neutrals only. Alter Ego Gigi = cool crayola colors.
As a certain fast food chain says, I’m lovin’ it!!
