It may be sad to see summer go, but that won’t stop us from toasting to a much-needed holiday weekend.

And in honor of Labor Day, I decided to put Señor Lechuga to work.

In the form of master mixologist. With the task of creating 3 unique DIVAlicious custom cocktails centered around limited edition and core Polar Seltzer flavors. 

Now anyone who knows me knows I’m a sparkling water kind of girl (over flat and tap) and that plain water bores me. I’ll add a lime or a slice of cucumber or really anything to amp up the FLAVA. So when I find a flavored sparkling water that has some kick, I’m far more psyched than the average bear. And when that flavored sparkling water can also be used a zero-calorie mixer for a skinny cocktail… helloooo, party time. 

Polar Seltzer is a 100% natural, premium-quality seltzer that comes in a plethora of flavors including Granny Smith Apple, Cranberry Lime, Ruby Red Grapefruit, Cherry Pomegranate and Georgia Peach. And as any fashionable brand would, they also have seasonal limited edition flavors. Summer 2013 introduced Cucumber Melon, Pomegranate Sangria, Ginger Lemonade, Piña Colada and Mint Mojito.

In sort of reverse cocktail-making style, we paired these flavors with some beloved spirits and fresh fruit. And when I say we, I mean Señor Lechuga.
