On the runway, Michael Kors opted not for the lashline but instead the crease to place electric blue eyeliner on models in his Spring 2013 show. It was an instant hit.
But this ain’t the runway.
And that may not suit your look or lifestyle.
You can still have fun with the bold shade, I swear.
Here I placed Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Pencil in Electric on DIVAlicious Member Nicole Siobal. I live for these liners and they are a pro kit staple of mine. As the name suggests, in one simple fluid motion, I glided the pencil just above her lashline and extended it up and out towards the tail of her brow.
A more traditional interpretation yet still an instant punch to an otherwise bare face.
Normally averse to bright color, even Nicole couldn’t help but LOVE it.
So fun and so easy, it’s a crime not to play with color this season.
Break out of the (monochromatic) box!
Here’s some more eye candy to tempt you… XOLC
Whenever I line my upper lash line wih pencil or powder it somehow smudges my under eye area. How can I prevent this from happening?

This is a common problem. Often eye creams (or oily lids) are the culprit. Make sure your eye cream has set in and then remove any excess with a tissue or a blotting paper. Then lightly powder lids with a translucent powder or fleshtone eyeshadow before applying liner. That should prevent the color transfer to the under-eye area. XOLC
