Was testing out some fun silver polishes to get in the holiday spirit and lo-and-behold….VIOLA!!….a metallic textured ombré situation emerged on my very hand. I looked at it. Smiled to myself because I love a happy beauty accident. And applied it exactly the same way to my other hand.

And now I’m parading around town like the sparkly diva I should have intended to be in the first place.

Here are the pretty polishes, in order. And might I add, all perfect stocking stuffers!!

I also like to mix my metallics so for example why not pair the darker Pixi shade with the more sheer Maybelline lacquer as a topcoat? Or better yet, the bright opaque SinfulColors topped with a coat of the Essie glitter? We could even throw some golds and rosegolds and bronzes and gunmetals into the mix.

Why not? No reason why.

Go winter wild.
