While I’m not into the super-white Ross look (usually accompanied by the super-orange Snooki tan), every six to eight months I do a week-long, at-home white strips regimen. Because let’s be real – teeth matter.
So I was intrigued when I got sent the new Colgate Optic White toothpaste for review.
For a fraction of the cost of the sometimes slippery and (even despite all the advancements) sensitivity-inducing strips, this toothpaste both removes surface stains with silica and whitens teeth with hydrogen peroxide (the same whitener used in white strips). Not bad for under $5!
In just a few days, I started to notice a subtle difference.
Granted, my teeth were pretty white to start with (thanks to not smoking, hardly drinking coffee and rarely sipping red wine) but by the end of week 1, I had a visibly brighter yet still natural smile.
And the stuff tastes great (they call the flavor Sparkling Mint).
Nothing not to love here!!
