I know it’s a huge trend this summer but I finally discovered (drumroll, please!)…my perfect combo of lipstick and lipgloss in one! In an H-O-T shade, no less.
Which is kind of amazing news.
Because I’m not exactly a lipgloss girl, nor am I a total lipstick fanatic.
So why be forced to pick a side when, fortunately, L’Oreal’s come to the rescue with Colour Riche Caresse Lipstick.
This lip product is somehow feather-light and sheer but still packs a (petite) punch with pigment. The colors are vibrant enough to make a statement, but toned down enough to make your lips look natural for a day into night look. The packaging is conveniently reflective and mirror-like, so you’ll never run into a problem during application. And best of all, it’s moisturizing and conditioning (no lip balm necessary!) so it imparts the perfect (read: non-sticky) shine.
My go-to shade: Violet Chiffon.
This color in particular had me fooled when I first saw its verrrry purple appearance. But as you can see, it’s unexpected yet totally wearable.
I was always into the glamorous hot pink lipstick trend, but every one I tried on seemed to be too bright or too pink for my taste. I always thought when will I ever get to wear something so striking? And now I can. Whether it’s a day in the office, meeting up with girlfriends for coffee, going to a party or even just running errands, I can fearlessly walk out of the house with a pop of color that is sure to catch attention and still look and feel great!
