The Isabelle Armstrong Bridal Spring 2016 Collection in the designer’s own words…
“Inspired by the uncompromising magnificence of a diamond. At its core, a diamond is strong, brilliant, and extraordinary. The collection is complete with geometric embroidery and soft, romantic fabrics and laces..each dress is hand-crafted, complex, and simply elegant. This collection is our interpretation of one of nature’s outstanding creations, a testament we believe exemplifies our continued efforts to design pieces evoking Splendor, Passion, and Grace.” – Isabelle Armstrong
The venue was Penthouse 45, which overlooked the New York City skyline, and allowed the natural light to illuminate the room. The archway featured a rose-and-thorn display, with “Isabelle Armstrong” embossed on the backdrop. Guests were seated on white fabric chairs, with gold back detailing. The scenery overall set a mood of tranquility and grace.
With twenty-four dresses gracing the rose-garden-themed runway, it was hard to choose a favorite! They had unique details that made each dress different, but still connected them as a collection. The shoes worn on the runway were chic and clean Manolo Blahnik’s.
Here are my six favorites that I just had to photograph!
PS, Terry Hall, Fashion Director of Kleinfeld Bridal (Say Yes To The Dress on TLC) was in the front row!
