In parenthood (and the path to parenthood), there will be high highs and low lows but when you get to see the world through the eyes of your baby, your baseline is pure and simple joy and wonder and excitement.
While we all check ourselves to keep it “real” why can’t we also share what’s real good, real beautiful, real magical, real amazing about this journey.
Why is that looked down upon or given an eye-roll.
If it’s cool these days to be the snarky mom, the hater mom, the bitchy mom, the anti-mom, let me remove myself from the mix, sit myself aside and have fun with my kid.
I’ve never been here to fit in anyway.
