The Lettuces: That’s My Boy

The Lettuces: That’s My Boy

“One thing about having a baby is that each step of the way you simply cannot imagine loving him any more than you already do, because you are bursting with love, loving as much as you are humanly capable of—and then you do, you love him even more.” —Anne Lamott

When we arrived at our @senorlechugahotsauce photoshoot, I thought it best that the actual Señor Lechuga of Señor Lechuga Hot Sauce went first as his solo shots would be most important, then mine, then us together and then lastly one or two with our 2 year old son but maybe him not facing the camera. Just to show the idea of a family to represent a family business.

He is our little CEO after all.

Well… in stark contrast to his daddy, who started the day by telling the photographer @jamesleewallnyc that “this is my hell,” when our babe walked out onto the seamless to join us at the end of the shoot, he just toddled right over to the bright yellow T on the ground and just hit that mark and nailed it.

Solo.

Totally un-coached.

Natural.

Confident.

Charismatic.

And ADORABLE.

We looked at each other and were like, did we just get totally shamed AND schooled by a 2 year old?!!!

YES. YES WE DID.

❤️❤️❤️

That’s my boy!!!! I keep loving him EVEN MORE.
