Daily Diva: Easter Blue

Daily Diva: Easter Blue

Went down to DC to visit my college bestie, Emmylicious. Fortunately and unfortunately, we had our boyfriends with us. Fortunately, because we had a blast at the spy museum and playing skee ball and shuffleboard… and getting tapas and sushi and brunch and many many cocktails. Unfortunately because it meant no shopping sprees… no mani/pedis… no spa appointments. Our girl-time rituals.

Still, I had to get in at least one mini-makeover – so I did a super simple look perfect for spring right before heading back to NYC.

The only thing you really need to recreate the look is this $5 pencil. Everything else (blush, bronzer, powder, gloss, mascara) is a staple you already have in your makeup bag.

This blue is perfection. It’s bright and happy and 1/3 of the cost of a cocktail in Manhattan.

I applied it to Emily’s upper lashline and then smudged it with a finger upward towards the crease. I then reapplied it at the lashline for further definition.

I mean……. how CUTE is she??!

TOOOOO CUTE.

Rosy – you could wear this color but I think a deeper blue would be better for your eye color. More of a midnight blue.

Em – gotta love a steal!!

Jessica – they have a bunch of really punchy fun shades, check ’em out!

I have two shades of these that I love to use for an inner corner highlight: a white one and a glittery champagne-ish one. I think the Sephora brand actually has a lot of nice products – their blushes are pretty great too!

Anyway, this blue looks soooo cute! I think Divalicious is convincing me to make so many bolder changes in my beauty routine ;) I love it!!
