We first saw this mod eye look on Ginnifer Goodwin at the Emmys…

Not long after, we saw it on the runway at Marc Jacobs…

And then we saw it on Mila Kunis on the cover of Allure…

We loved it more and more each time. LIke a cute guy with an amazing personality who suddenly turns irresistible. 

Obvi, we had to give it a whirl.

I popped our interpretation onto Miss Denise and we both kind of DIED over it. 

It’s retro, it’s unexpected, it’s sexy and it’s shockingly quick and easy to apply.

The makeup that Lauren applied is a twist on the original Twiggy/Eddie Sedgwick version but a little more polished. This look is verrry dramatic with an intensely defined crease. To keep it wearable, and the emphasis on the eyes, pair it with clean, fresh skin and soft nude lips. Of course, you want the blackest black liner and eyeshadow plus many coats of mascara.
