Had a MAJOR hair moment last night when I walked into my hair salon (the incomparable De Berardinis in Chelsea) to get a trim and ended up with BANGS!!
The last and only time I had bangs was 6th grade before I knew about blowouts and product. One word effectively summarized the look – tragic.
But this time I kinda wanted shorter layers than usual and, to my surprise, was firmly informed by Adrian I’m not a half-assed person (true dat), so why get a half-assed cut?
Man had a point.
“If were gonna do it,” I was told, “we’re gonna go all the way. [dramatic pause] BANGS!!!”
And bangs I got!!
