DIVA DISH: Hydra-Gel Masks

DIVA DISH: Hydra-Gel Masks

When THESE arrived for testing (bless you Wilma Schumann!), intern Jess and I could not wait to tear open their liquid-filled foil packs.

I don’t think we even really got what they did benefits-wise at the time. But we are mask fiends and these looked like a good time.

I mean…..

Skincare-saturated neon green jelly masks?!?! Ummmm… #YASSSS.

I got two words for you: We dig.

Aaaaand it turns out they contain aloe vera and collagen plus hyaluronic acid to sooth and hydrate. Amazing for when the NYC winter is completely kicking your *ss. And wreaking havoc on your face.

For $39, they come individually wrapped in a box that contains 4 masks. So basically 10 bucks a pop. Not too shabby.

“Pretty pretty good,” as the other LD says.

You can also choose a box with a different formulation, like red wine (HELLOOOO IS IT ME YOU’RE LOOKING FOR??) for its antioxidants, deep sea oil for its nourishing and reparative benefits or pure collagen for total hydration. Or if you’re super indecisive, there’s the combo pack.

Once the mask is gently smoothed onto the face (ps, they advise starting by lining up the nose opening, probably so you don’t rip yours like I did right away at the left eye), you chill out while it works its magic for 15 minutes. In that time, you may start thinking about the red wine mask. Or just red wine in general. No judgment.

You may also start thinking this thing feels JUST like gummy candy and looks JUST like a fruit roll-up. Which you LOVE.

So selfie-worthy…

You might also get a little sad when the mask sesh is almost over. These guys are single-use only so try not to get too attached.

Baby-soft supple skin – CHECK.

That’s a wrap! Now back to Fashion Week.
