What surprised me about this lipstick, after wrapping my head around the fact that all 8 gorgeous shades were created by fruit, is that is had some serious staying power. I first wore it on an 8 hour shoot and had coffee all throughout the day plus lunch. When we wrapped, my pout was still pigmented and pretty. Impressive, especially since there is nothing unnatural in the product to help with that kind of longevity.
Now, since their products are truly pure, you may compromise a bit on shelf life. Natural preservatives and anti-bacterial herbs are used in the products in addition to proprietary brand techniques to extend usage, but on each product, there is a jar icon with a number. That number lets you know how long you can use a product once it’s opened. Sounds like a good and fair system to me.
