DUDES DISH: Cool Rider

DUDES DISH: Cool Rider

Epic does not even begin to describe my Saturday last week.  Driving a Lamborghini, traversing a six-story ropes course, and attending a Far East themed costume party.  Sounds more like a bucket list than a single day.

But I am an adrenalin junkie. Which brings me to my post.

When you are throwing caution to the wind and grabbing life by the balls, there is no better time than the present to look awesome. Like a baller, if you will.

Let’s say your father-in-law lets you borrow his new Aston Martin DB9.  There are 500 horses available to you right under your foot.  Let me give you a piece of advice, treat your feet to some driving shoes before you let the engine roar.

Quite possibly the most indispensible piece of adventure-wear: sunglasses.  Whether you are climbing Kilimanjaro or kayaking the Na Pali coast, shades are essential.  Pick up a pair of Suprema Persol, and take your glasses game to the next level.

Leather jackets are essential when flying P-51 Mustangs and riding café racers up PCH.  Stay cool while keeping warm plus protect yourself from an unwanted spill with a beautiful Loro Piana Jacket.

What do snowboarding, F1 Car Racing, and base-jumping have in common? A helmet. Mankind has come a long way since the hideous bike helmets your mom made you wear when you couldn’t seem to keep the skin on your knees.  So now you can strap on a Matte Black Helmet by Hugo Boss to protect that big brain of yours.

Timing is everything. And any watch that is able to incorporate rose gold, carbon fiber, a chronograph and still look like it belongs on Batman’s wrist, you should have.  It may not turn you into a superhero but you’ll be able to clock all your adventures.
