I thought it was just a cream, but turns out it’s also a powder. Either way, this stuff is definitely the easiest eyeshadow that I’ve ever worked with! No doubt.
The L’Oreal Paris 24HR Infallible Eye Shadow in Amber Rush has been my go-to eye product for awhile now. The name doesn’t lie: these clear pots are infallible in every way.
- They are infallible when it comes to longevity, as they last me all day even without a primer. Even though it’s a semi-powder, it still provides the longevity of a longwear cream shadow. Plus, they’re waterproof.
- They are infallible when it comes to finding the right shade. L’Oreal Paris boasts 18 shades on its website, and from wearable neutrals to bold blues, greens and purples, you are bound to find the one (or two or three) that suits you best.
- They are infallible when it comes to executing a look. I’ve always struggled with “getting it right” when it comes to eyeshadow application, but never with these – mainly because it only takes three simple steps (but really just one) to create a look all on its own. Just open, dab onto your eyes with fingers, then blend til your heart’s content. Add eyeliner and mascara for a more intensified look.
And the best part?
They are yet another testament to the greatness that is budget beauty. Great eyeshadow at a fraction of the price, for the same quality as prestige brands. I’m in head over heels in love.
