REVIEW: John Frieda Hydrate+Rescue Deep Conditioner

REVIEW: John Frieda Hydrate+Rescue Deep Conditioner

I am a fairly positive person, but think I may be the ultimate pessimist when it comes to “restoring” hair.

Over the years I have teased, blow-dried, curled, and of course, flattened, my locks in ways so creative that I often wonder if I should document them in some “ways to torment your tresses” photo blog.  I have scoured the aisles and spent a small fortune on countless products which rarely brought reliable results, until I finally accepted that the damage had been done and all but gave up on the idea of repairing my poor hair.

Just as I was committing to a life of lifeless hair, Lauren introduced me to John Frieda Hydrate + Rescue Deep Conditioner. Now, I trust LDiva, but suffice it to say that I was skeptical. Still, a week into using this product consecutively, I can not only report that my hair feels softer, but it also looks shiner and healthier. Dare I say,  restored??

How It Works:

I left the deep conditioner on for 5 full minutes every day.  On the seventh day, I slathered the Hydrate+Rescue Deep Conditioner  onto my strands and wrapped my hair in a hot towel for 20 minutes and let it do its magic.  One unwrap and rinse–and BOOM!–sexier, healthier hair all over again!

The verdict? This product is amazing! For only $8.99, I would recommended it to anyone who is looking to make peace with angry hair.
