Spring Forward: Artistry Escape to Paradise

Spring Forward: Artistry Escape to Paradise

With spring just two months away how can you not daydream about an Escape to Paradise?!

This color palette from Artistry available on March 1st is truly a cosmetic escape from the winter blues.

The compact – which holds four eye shadows, two blushers, one highlighter and a bronzer – comes in a sleek and stylish case and offers a soft, seasonal selection of pastels and neutrals.

For my first post on divalicious blog, I got to test the palette on the diva herself.

Here’s the step-by-step on how I created the look (scroll down for photos)…

I first highlighted under the brow bone and the inner corners of the eyes with Fusion, a champagne shimmer.

Then, at the outer corner and through the crease I swept the gold flecked, Bone.

Next, I dabbed my brush in Iris, a shimmering lavender, and Lotus, a light pink, tojust the middle of the lid and blended it outward to give a hint of color.

Finally, I ran the Island Violet eye pencil along the upper and lower lashlines. The pencil glided on smooth and swiftly and I blended the line with the easy built-in smudger.

To complete the eyes, I applied two coats of mascara (not included in the kit).

For the face, using a big blush brush, I swept over the entire Golden Glow cheek quad, brushing up and outward starting at the apples of the cheeks.

In keeping with the soft, sultry look, I picked a pale gloss for lips to finish the look.

Super simple!

(NOTE: Puppylicious Gianni Versace even got in on the action!)
