It’s a complicated thing to navigate pregnancy after loss, a tricky time to announce a pregnancy and a hard time to be pregnant. But in all situations, even the worst, there is always #HOPE — and we hope our family news brightens your day.

After two back to back miscarriages leading right into this pregnancy, I waited until I had a dark pink line. Only two days after I first saw the initial light pink positive. I wrote him a note and taped the pregnancy sticks onto a printout of a card I could not find in-store or online.
Later when he held up the “card” for a photo for us to document the moment, the camera instead focused on his arm tattoo. Amore vole fe. Love needs faith.

When we made it official with our first pregnancy (#babylettuce), we used the first three slides (below). For this pregnancy (#littlelettuce), we added a fourth!
