Last week I sent Featured Writer Kate Pangilinan to cover a NYFW show for the site. But the list for backstage beauty coverage was allegedly never sent. Leaving many well-dressed and short-fused fashion insiders pretty pissed. Knowing how these things can often become mismanaged and disorganized, I advised that she (politely) not take no for an answer. She was sent to interview a key member of the beauty team and she was an invited guest. As you can imagine, it was a bit of a nightmare. Until it turned to bittersweet fashion victory. Kate got in.
