When I first got these products from Mally Beauty and saw the packaging I said “ohh so fancy.” I received the I Love Color eyeshadow palette and two of the Evercolor Shadow Stick in the colors Sunlight and Deep Plum to review.
The colors in this palette are beautiful. I feel like this is a “go to” palette because it has a little bit of everything. I saw colors I could wear for any season. I really like that it’s very versatile especially since it retails for $50, I feel like its worth it for the color range. The quality of the shadows are also very worth the price because they are very pigmented.
I am in love with the shadow sticks! This deep plum color is perfect for fall. In the picture the color is coming up very matte but it does have a more metallic look. The shadow sticks work great as a base for an eyeshadow which is what I really love using them for. I like the idea of the cream eye shadow in a stick form, I have only seen cream shadows in a jar. I think this makes it easier to use . When I applied the product while doing my makeup, I applied it straight from the tube. I think it makes for quick eyeshadow application if you are some one who likes wearing eyeshadows but not spending a lot time doing your eyeshadow. It’s like having the shadow and brush in one !
The shadow stick in Sunshine is such a beautiful color. I’ve actually been reaching for this product everyday when doing my makeup. It’s become apart of my everyday makeup routine. I love using it to highlight the inner corners of my eyes!
In this picture, I used two of the products to achieve the eye makeup. I’m wearing two of the shades from the palette and the Deep Plum shadow stick in my crease. The shadows were very pigmented as I said before and looked great and wore well even though I didn’t wear an eyeshadow primer.
Overall, I recommend these products— the shadow sticks are a must have!
