If there’s one thing I can’t ever stop buying when it comes to skincare, it’s masks. I love them! For me, doing a mask is taking some time for MYSELF and allows me to give myself a little bit of a spa day at home. Finding a cruelty free or vegan mask can be a challenge since so many masks have animal ingredients or dangerous chemicals to achieve desired results. I applied the Hydralift Firming Gel Mask after cleansing my skin in the shower with a gentle cleanser and warm water. When my skin was still slightly damp, I applied the mask and kicked back for about 15 minutes.
Upon application, this product has a cooling, gel-like feel. I really liked how it felt, and I really loved that this product did not have a scent. Sometimes organic and natural products have strong scents due to herbs and other botanicals. This mask is great for someone who needs a neutral-scented product.
Though this mask costs $52, a little bit goes a long way. As you can see, after using this mask twice already (once per week), I still have quite a bit of product left in the container.
After rinsing it off, my skin felt smooth and tight. I loved how even it looked and how “awake” it felt. I would definitely make this part of my cruelty-free spa day again! :)
