Do not be made to feel limited (or think self-limiting thoughts) because of the science and statistics. Do not lose hope because of numbers. I just didn’t believe the general stats for my age dictated what was possible for me. Nor did my actual numbers fall in line with those charts.
But even if they did, that would not seal my fate. I have very close friends and know many women who were told for all different reasons it would be nearly impossible, who are all moms now.
When given particularly negative and defeatist stats one appointment, which I understand are meant to anchor your expectations, I finally said, well that is an average for all women, not a dictate for a single individual, so that doesn’t mean it’s true for me.
And from then on I started saying: I AM AN INDIVIDUAL AND WHAT IS POSSIBLE FOR ME IS UNIQUE TO ME.
Nothing is guaranteed but no one knows with certainty how your story will go.
