Right now, in the world of fashion, we are in the middle of a maj graphic black and white moment, which naturally, in the world of beauty, makes for the perfect occasion to wear a feisty lip color.
For this super modern look, I tried Illamasqua lip color in Ignite. It’s an opaque and bright red-orange shade. You could tone down this highly pigmented shade by opting for a sheer formula, such as a lip gloss or balm, or pat it on with a finger. But I chose to go bold.
With such a vivid color, it’s important to keep the lips the main focus and keep the rest of the makeup slightly defined, but not overdone.
I kept my face fresh by first spritzing on Tea Tree Therapeutic Spray by c.Booth to prep the skin and control any shine and/or blemishes. Then using Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation in Vanilla Beige I gave my skin a flawless finish. Finally I created a neutral, shimmery eye with Simply Vera by Vera Wang Transforming Shadow Duo in #406 and a distinct and somewhat winged out eye liner on the top lashline only using Aqua Black Waterproof Cream Eye Shadow by Make Up For Ever.
