Happy (early!) Halloween Divas! This year, why not just do an outfit, but an amazing makeup look as well? It’s the perfect combination.
My look: Diva Cheetah, a hybrid of wild and sexy.
The key to this look is priming your face. Any face primer and eyeshadow primer will do. I used Smashbox Photo Finish Primer on the face, and Urban Decay Primer Potion on the eyes. This will form a sleek barrier between your face and the makeup, allowing the face to be less prone to breaking out, and it will keep your makeup looking fresh and in place all night!
The Products:
1. Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer in “Light/Medium”
2. Hard Candy So Baked Bronzer in “Tiki”
3. Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray
4. L’Oreal Infallible Lacquer Liner 24H Eyeliner in “Blackest Black”
5. L’Oreal Infallible Lacquer Liner 24H Eyeliner in “Expresso”
6. Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick in “Pomegranate”
After priming, apply your foundation/concealer (of choice) the way you normally would. Then, brush eyebrows into place and add tinted brow gel, such as Anastasia Beverly Hills Tinted Brow Gel, if desired.
Next, take a kabuki brush and dust Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer all over the face to add that “warm tone.” For contouring, take a contouring brush, such as Real Techniques Makeup Expert Face Brush and suck in your cheeks to make a hollow. Brush the bronzer in an upward-downward motion following the curve of the hollow until it’s 1 1/2 shades darker than your actual skin color. Then, blend the hollow evenly around the edges. Using the kabuki brush again, swipe Hard Candy So Baked Bronzer lightly over the entire face to make the face ‘glow.’
Next, take an eyeshadow brush and apply the eyeshadows below as labeled below, all from the Naked Palette. After the shadows are applied, add a medium sized line of L’Oreal Infallible Lacquer Liner 24H Eyeliner in “Blackest Black” above the lash line. On the waterline, add your choice of black pencil eyeliner and a dust of shade “Buck” from the Naked Palette to add a touch of drama. Add your choice of mascara on both the top and bottom lashes to top it off (I chose L’Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Mascara in Blackest Black!). You could also use some false lashes, although I opted to go all natural :)
Next, take the eyeshadow brush and dust shade “Half-Baked” and “Buck” in a crest on one side of the face, around the eye area and down the cheekbone. For the “Cheetah Spots,” take L’Oreal Infallible Lacquer Liner 24H Eyeliner in “Expresso” and draw on “spots” in any shape you want! After, dust a bit more eyeshadow onto the spots to blur them out a bit!
Color in the tip of your nose with L’Oreal Infallible Lacquer Liner 24H Eyeliner in “Blackest Black” and draw some whisker dots, as shown. Spritz Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray to keep your cheetah-face from fading throughout the night.
Finish with a coat of the long lasting, Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick in “Pomegranate” for a fierce pout!
Enjoy!!
