internDiva: Simple Vampy Fall Makeup ft. Va Va Violet

Vampy makeup is always a popular fall trend. When I want to pull off a vampy look, I always reach for my Revlon Va Va Violet lipstick. You’ve probably already heard me rave about this lipstick in my Fall Lipsticks for Deeper Skintones post. Now, I’m giving a quick breakdown on how you could wear this lipstick or any deep purple lippie you might have. I don’t have to do much with my look because this lip speaks for itself.  It’s perfect for the days when I want to do a quick statement look. If any of you divas are like me and are already stressed by finals, then this is a stress-free makeup look just for you. Get your brushes ready!

Start out by applying a neutral shade to the eye. Our lip is bold so we want to keep the attention there and do very little with our eyes.  I’m using M.A.C’s Bamboom which is not like your average eyeshadow. This one comes in a tube and has a creamy consistency. Being that it’s creamy, you can use your finger to apply the product.

Apply a brown shadow that suits your complexion into your crease area to give your eye definition. This will make your eyeshadow pop instead of looking flat with just one monotone color.

Today we’re going to skip the liner on top. So go ahead and grab your favorite mascara and doll up those lashes! I’m using two coats of bareMinerals Flawless Definition Mascara.

Let’s add a bit of fierceness to this eye look by adding black eyeliner to the waterline. Apply lightly because we’re still trying to keep the attention on our statement lip!

Our eye look is simple but still flirty!

Although we’re going for a vampy look we don’t want to look like vampires (unless you do, #yolo). Add some glow to your skin by applying M.A.C’s Improper Copper cream color base. Lightly tap this product at the top of your cheeks. You will instantly see your skin have this natural radiance. This product is the bomb.com and it’s featured on my list of Must have Beauty Products

And that divas is the glow.

Apply your lipstick to complete the look!

And there you have it, super simple vampy makeup, a quick pick-me-up from studying! Good luck to all you divas taking finals!

See you soon divas!

Any makeup look that uses MAC Paint and MAC Cream Color Base is #winning in my book. Super pretty fall look Trish and nothing vampire about it ;)
