Review: Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation

Review: Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation

“Brush number what? Primer? Foundation? Highlighter? … Where does that even go!?”

In general, makeup definitely isn’t my forte. I’ve always been both intrigued but intimidated by all the different product reviews not to mention various looks that one can find in the pandora’s box of tutorials we call YouTube. I just had NO idea where to start. Which would drive me to research a bunch of different products online at Sephora.com and MACcosmetics.com, get totally overwhelmed, and then ultimately close out a plethora of open windows.

So when LDiva tested out the Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation on me, I fell in love! With newfound confidence, I decided to take it for a test drive on my own…

The packaging is sleek and attractive. One of its perks is that the optional pump doesn’t dispense too much, which I’ve found happens with other products.

As for the coverage and finish, I absolutely love the way it makes my face look. It provides a clean even tone to the surface of my skin. The shade I have is just slightly darker than my exact match, so it serves as a foundation plus bronzer which I love (because who doesn’t want to keep their tan all throughout the year?). It also awakens my face, covers my blemishes and hides my eyebags fairly well. Without needing to add on concealer. I especially like the matte finish – very on-trend!

After Using Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation

I added a little eyeliner for my finished look, and voila!

It’s safe to say that I’m addicted to this foundation! I’ve been using it daily since Lauren introduced it to me, and I definitely would suggest adding it to part of your daily make-up routine. Not to mention, it lasted me a solid eight hours before I took it off with makeup remover.
